Wiley’s Statement Regarding COVID-19 Vaccination Policy and Flexible Working Policy

October 12, 2021

Washington, D.C. – Wiley is pleased to announce that the firm has updated its COVID-19 vaccination policy and flexible working policy. The following quotes can be attributed to Wiley Chief Talent Officer Kay Nash:

“As you know, the firm has strongly encouraged everyone to become fully vaccinated against COVID-19 due to its significant impact on our workplace and community. We are pleased to report that we have reached a 94% vaccination rate as a firm. As we continue to keep everyone’s health and well-being as our essential priority, and with the goal of making our workplace as safe as reasonably possible, the Executive Committee has approved an update to our policy so that everyone working in or visiting our office must be fully vaccinated by December 13, 2021. We will process requests for reasonable accommodation to this policy on an individualized basis.”

“Similar to the approach many firms are taking, Wiley has implemented a flexible working policy that will go into effect when the firm opens its new office doors at 2050 M Street on December 13, 2021. Attorneys may work up to 50% of their time remotely and staff up to two days a week , depending on the requirements of their positions.”
