Foster Garvey is pleased to announce that Paul Heer, an associate in the firm’s Investment Management group, has been named to the Leadership Tomorrow Class of 2021.
Leadership Tomorrow is a Seattle-based organization devoted to cultivating civic leaders from the Puget Sound region. Each year, Leadership Tomorrow aims to select 60 influential members across the public, private and nonprofit sectors for its 10-month Flagship Program. Class members have all demonstrated a deep commitment to making the region a more equitable and just place for everyone.
“Paul has been a steadfast ambassador of community involvement for our firm,” said Foster Garvey’s Co-Chair Diana Shukis. “We are excited and proud to see him chosen for this distinguished group focused on creating positive change within our communities.”
The Leadership Tomorrow cohort will examine issues from a systemic point of view, consider diverse perspectives and practice collaborating across differences. There will be specific emphasis placed on how systems of inequity, particularly racial inequity, must be addressed to achieve a healthy and resilient community.
Paul currently serves as Co-Chair of Foster Garvey’s Opportunity and Progress Council, the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiative. He also serves as a Board Member and President-elect of the Seattle Clemency Project. In 2019, Paul was presented the Washington State Bar Association’s Public Service & Leadership Award.
