Live Webinar
9:00am – 1:00pm

Dennis F. Feeney, the Hon. Glenn Berman (Ret.) and the Hon. Michael R. Casale (Ret.) will be panelists for the live webinar “Hot Tips in Family Law: What I Wish I Knew When I Was Starting Out,” which will be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

This program will feature some of New Jersey’s most prominent matrimonial attorneys and retired judges, who will recall what they wished they knew at the beginning of their careers. Panelists will share the skills and techniques they learned through experience about handling demanding clients and adversaries, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases.  The agenda will include the following topics:

Mr. Feeney is a member of the firm’s Family Law Department. He has experience in a wide range of matters impacting divorcing parties and families, including child custody and support, spousal support, domestic violence, asset valuation, the drafting of prenuptial agreements and marital settlement agreements, and appellate practice. He represents clients in financially complex divorce litigation involving high net worth individuals throughout New Jersey.

Judge Berman is Of Counsel to the firm’s Litigation Department. He focuses his practice on mediation, arbitration, and discovery management of complex family, commercial, estate/probate, real estate and general equity matters. His practice area also encompasses special master services, settlement conferences and law enforcement investigations. He brings to his practice a wealth of expertise garnered from his many years of service to New Jersey’s Judiciary. Judge Berman was specially designated to preside over New Jersey’s 2012 landmark cyberbullying case, State of New Jersey v. Dharun Ravi.

Judge Casale is Of Counsel to the Family Law Department.  He focuses his practice on mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences and discovery management. He has extensive experience in the areas of family law, personal injury and insurance defense, which he brings to bear in his representation of clients in complex family and civil disputes, including malpractice and employment litigation matters. His practice also encompasses consultation and trial strategy in child custody, relocation, child support and domestic violence matters. In 2016, Judge Casale retired from the New Jersey Judiciary following over 20 years of service as a Superior Court Judge.
