Amundsen Davis Transportation Alert

On December 22, 2015, Ohio became the latest and 43rd state to adopt an anti-indemnification provision for transportation agreements. Effective March 21, 2016, the bill voids any section of a transportation contract that indemnifies the promisee from liability when the loss was caused by the promisee’s actions. This statute does not apply to the UIIA.
