Molly Arranz and Tom Pienkos presented at the 2021 WAMIC Short Course, discussing the history of cybersecurity compliance for the insurance sector, provided information on Wisconsin’s new law that seeks to protect “nonpublic information”, and talked about the benchmarks for compliance. They also explained what practical steps insurance carriers can take, how to evaluate exemptions, and how to reduce the risk of litigation.
