Overview
In January, Illinois legislature passed The Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLFAW). The PFLAW makes Illinois the third state to pass a law mandating paid leave for employees for any reason. The law will go into effect on January 1, 2024 and employers need to start reviewing their current policies before the changes need to be made.
