Overview

Amundsen Davis defended a not-for-profit organization against a contractor’s claims of sex discrimination at the Chicago Commission on Human Relations. Following a jurisdictional hearing, the Commission dismissed the employee’s claims against the organization, holding that it had established that no employment relationship existed between it and the individual. In dismissing the claim at this early point, the Commission did not then need to determine whether sex discrimination had occurred.
