Amundsen Davis represented a business in a lease/contract dispute over whether client’s equipment were trade fixtures that remained the client’s property or improvements/additions to the leased property that became landlord’s property once installed in Illinois state court. The court granted a preliminary injunction finding that the client’s equipment were trade fixtures that remained the client’s property and allowing the client to regain possession of its equipment.
