Overview
Sherry Coley represented a lender in a historic tax credit reconstruction project of a hotel. The general contractor ran into difficulties causing the lead lender to pull out. We assisted our client in putting the project into a receivership, taking on additional loans to pay local subcontractors, hiring a general contractor to complete construction and then finding a management company to own and operate the hotel. Despite the challenges of COVID-19 and reduced traveling, this hotel is operational today.
