Overview
The client faced a putative class action lawsuit in Federal Court based on alleged improper lending practices. Amundsen Davis successfully moved the Court to enforce an arbitration clause and class action waiver against the plaintiff, effectively removing the class action allegations from the complaint and moving the matter into arbitration. Once in arbitration, Amundsen Davis again successfully opposed a subsequent motion to remove the case back to Federal Court
