Overview
Successfully settled a matter involving the wrongful death of two plaintiffs who were shot and killed at a well-known Chicago area fried chicken chain when an unknown shooter chasing after a gang member open fired into the restaurant. It was alleged that there should have been security guards on the premises and that the establishment had two doors, one of which was locked which prevented patrons from being able to escape the shooting. Video surveillance revealed that the allegations about one of the doors being locked was untrue.
