Overview
The RedEye Chicago highlights five Chicago Millennials involved in politics and community service that volunteer for campaigns. Among the five is Joe Carlasare, attorney in our Chicago office.
Joe’s passion for politics was ignited ten years ago when he interned for a U.S. Senator while in college, continuing on to volunteer in campaigns for a U.S. House candidate, a U.S. Representative, and a myriad of other political leaders.
He is currently campaigning himself, hoping to represent a district with approximately 50,000 people and nearly 27,000 registered voters. Joe states, “I like the phrase, ‘Democracy is a verb.’ You can’t sit on the sidelines about things you are passionate about.”
