David Sethi

As a member of the Transportation & Logistics Service Group, David works closely with global motor carriers, third party logistics brokers, shippers, charter bus operators, emergency transporters, and waste management companies. He provides legal assistance in all legal aspects of the transportation industry, including high stakes/high exposure litigation, personal/corporate counsel representation, trial/litigation review, contract disputes, contract and internal policy review, risk management, evidence preservation, and regulatory compliance.

David has also represented contractors and engineers in the construction industry for over 15 years. As a member of the firm’s Construction Service Group, David represents a global top 20 construction manager, trade contractors, and multiple small business enterprises. David provides legal assistance to contractors and insurers in matters involving construction defects, negligence, premises liability, insurance, and contract and policy review.

Outside the office, David is an Advisory Board Member of Legal Prep Academy, the first school of its kind in Chicago to utilize a legal-enhanced curriculum to provide students in an underprivileged community with the tools to seek higher education and eventually, law school degrees. David also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his nephews and niece, and visiting his brother abroad. He is a long-suffering Illini football fan.
