Michael F. Cocciemiglio

Michael examines each matter from a variety of angles using his expansive background in construction, real estate, and business law. After a collegiate education in engineering, Michael sees issues from both a legal and technical perspective. He combines both to effectively and efficiently evaluate matters, while his competitive nature pushes him to obtain the best results for his clients.

Before becoming an attorney, Michael worked in his family’s logistics and warehousing business. That experience gave him a unique perspective with the various regulatory issues faced by all businesses, making him an especially effective advisor for his clients.

As a member of the Business Litigation and Construction Service Groups, Michael handles all aspects of litigation for commercial clients including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, construction defects, mechanics lien claims, and real property matters. Michael also represents clients in all industries during OSHA inspections through the litigation of citations and appeal.

As a member of the Real Estate Service Group, Michael serves as an advocate for owners, developers, and contractors, routinely advising them on contract and lease negotiations and disputes. Michael’s practice includes real estate transactions such as the acquisition and disposition as well as the development of real estate assets. His experience in construction, real estate, and business law make him a full-service lawyer for clients looking to expand their real estate portfolios.
