Overview

Elizabeth makes a personal connection with her clients, knowing that for them, litigation is almost always personal. She digs in to understand her clients' interests and facilitate a resolution that best satisfies those interests. Elizabeth represents business and public sector clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract and warranty, negligence, fraud and other unfair business practices. While she always looks for the most efficient resolution, she has more than a decade of litigation experience and negotiates without fear of trial. She represents clients through trial and appeal in state and federal court.

A considerable amount of Elizabeth’s experience has been in construction and environmental litigation, where she has represented property owners, engineers, and contractors. She represents clients facing design deficiencies, construction defects, inadequate construction inspection, payment disputes, real estate condition report disputes, Superfund liability and cost allocation, and stormwater runoff disputes.

Elizabeth also represents individuals and businesses in property disputes, including boundary line disputes, easements, and adverse possession.

Elizabeth routinely prosecutes municipal ordinance violations. Her municipal trial experience includes violations of Operating While Intoxicated, building code and permit requirements, and various traffic offenses.

Elizabeth also serves as local counsel for out-of-state attorneys representing clients in Wisconsin courts.
