Overview
Peter’s clients appreciate the passion and clarity he brings to an area of law that is often difficult to think about. His objective is to not only work with clients to create a plan tailored for their situation, but to do so in a way that aligns with their values as well.
Peter has years of experience planning for those with complex or large estates. Clients value Peter’s focus on not only themselves, but the people, causes and even the pets they care about. Business owners, investors, professionals, executives, and those with complex family dynamics seek him out to discuss planning for their unique situations. He also works with many clients who own property in multiple states, or are looking to relocate.
Additionally, Peter creates tax and estate planning strategies for large liquidity events, such as the sale of a business or proceeds from a legal action, and has experience planning for unusual or unique assets, such as art, vehicles, collectables, property held in other countries, and sentimental items.
Peter also works with business owners to consult on their business operations, growth, and succession planning, and has worked with a number of startups from foundation through sale. Finally, Peter frequently speaks at and writes for a variety of professional, private, and public groups on topics involving estate and tax planning, trust administration, and estate administration.
