The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) hosted a webinar in July 2016 on the U.S. Department of Labor’s final rule increasing the minimum salary requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) for white collar exemptions. The webinar was presented by Heather Bailey, partner in our labor and employment group.
Heather’s article, “The Department of Labor’s Final Rule on Increasing White Collar Salaries Recapped,” covers any follow-up questions in relation to how to pay employees properly based on the new rule. The article addresses topics such as: who the rule applies to, minimum salary, exempt positions and more.
