"Forcible Entry and Detainer" Goes the Way of the Dodo

In his article titled, "'Forcible Entry and Detainer' Goes the Way of the Dodo," published in the McHenry County Bar Association's In Brief newsletter, Michael Cortina discusses how Public Act 100-0173 amends the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure, as well as other laws, to replace the phrase "forcible entry and detainer" to simply, "eviction", and how the failure to make necessary changes to any form documents can have many consequences.
