Overview
Our Litigation and Trial Review Panel is a team of Amundsen Davis’s seasoned litigators who come together to evaluate cases the firm is preparing for trial. When a case is going to trial, our litigators have the option of bringing the case before the Litigation and Trial Review Panel to discuss nuances, strategies and possible outcomes. Once a month the Litigation and Trial Review Panel will form a roundtable discussion on a case being prepped for trial, giving the trial team an opportunity to receive feedback on their case strategy and develop a plan for the best possible resolution. The group provides insight and suggestions for discovery issues, expert disclosures, settlement value, verdict value, liability exposure, contributory negligence and general trial strategy.
Alan Farkas, Tom Lyman and Max Goodman co-chair the group and assemble each roundtable, soliciting participants from the firm’s talent pool of litigations. Attorneys of all experience levels are encouraged to participate, offering our associates the opportunity to gain exposure to trial preparation and hear feedback from the firm’s more seasoned litigators.
The Litigation and Trial Review Panel provides an in-house service that many other law firms outsource at a high cost. Our clients receive the benefit of hearing an evaluation of their case. Lead counsel shares feedback with their clients as they use it to hone their trial or settlement strategy. Many times clients will join the roundtable, providing them the opportunity to hear a first-hand analysis of their case.
